Magnus Abe made the request during gathering of Rainbow Coalition members on Tuesday afternoon in Port Harcourt while delivering his speech
Abe recounted that Amaechi had ones told them as their leader during the time Goodluck Jonathan was running for presidential election that it was the turn of the North.
According to Magnus Abe, "Amaechi told us that Rivers State is committed to agreement...."
"If we allow Goodluck Jonathan, it will destroy the agreement"
He demanded that Amaechi too should respect same position he took them and still apply it this time
"Amaechi should respect his own position and resign as VP to Atiku Abubakar. Atiku should wait for the South to complete their turn." Abe said
Magnus Abe was a Senator who represented Rivers South East and is believed to have gone to the Senate through the help of his then boss Rotimi Amaechi, former governor of Rivers State
As at he time of filing this report it is not clear if Amaechi will obey the call by Abe or ignore his statement
